Nike SB X Street Fighter Pack

This new quickstrike pack from Nike SB is inspired by two of the classic Street Fighter characters, Ryu and Chun-Li.  The Ryu inspired Dunk Mid sports a worn and weathered swoosh that reflects Ryu's headband.  These look pretty sick at first glance but they have the new unpopular SB Dunk Mid characteristics.  The heel/collar lining is clearly not as stuffed full of padding like the older Dunk Mids....and the obvious change is the missing strap....what's next?...removing the zoom in the sole?  On the other hand, the Chun Li Dunk Lows seem to have dropped the recent SB Dunk Low changes (no fat tongue and only 1 pair of laces).  The detailed pictures that have leaked reveal a set of white and blue laces and a fat tongue...so, maybe Nike is listening to all of the complaints.  Overall, a decent quickstrike pack, but nothing overly exciting. 

Nik SB Dunk Low Eric Koston

Nike SB continues to use suede, suede and more suede. But shit, how 'bout some more suede?Some think they've overdone it, but these capitalize on the timeless material. Notice how the gold/red outlined sick swoosh really pops out (how can you miss it) ? That's thanks to the contrast of shiny gold leather, and the dull, yet dope, blue suede. As nice as these are, how about adding some gum laces to match the outsole? Who wouldn't cop them then? Only those who are too loyal to the fat toungue! Overall.............well done.

Nike SB Dunk Low Curb - Black Yellow

Finally!! It's about time that SB has taken a step in the right direction. This year has been filled with disappointing leaks of new SB releases that have downgraded their perception in the sneaker community. Some have even suggested that a handful of 6.0 releases have exceeded the SB line of kicks this year (especially with the rise of the Encore's popularity). This Dunk low not only enhances the excitement of the return of the fat tongue, but also capitalizes on such a classic "Lance" colorway. The mix of rich textured premium leathers and materials only enhances this great colorway.

Ironman Dunk High SB

Let the SB lineup continue to rise....and we've been waiting. Although this colorway is an easy steal from the upcoming movie, the execution is phenomenal. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that's reminded of the Hellboy Forum High, but this Dunk takes a similar superhero color palate to a new level. This continues a welcoming trend of superhero themed kicks in the last few years that include the Stormtrooper SB Dunk Highs, the Batman Vandal High and Dunk SB Mid, the Hellboy Forum Highs and the Spiderman (OG colorway) Dunk SB Mid. Hopefully Nike or Adidas will make a shoe as attractive as Jessica Alba in the Fantastic Four (just not as cheesy)!
